Katy-Perry.net is 1 year old! This website was created one year ago, on July 1st, 2008, with the aim of providing Katy Perry fans with daily news, exclusive and high quality images, along with music and videos! It's hard to say how happy I am to see how far Katy has come and being able to follow her fantastic career 24/7 on her way to becoming one of the most successful new pop artists. On Sunday, I had the privilege to talk to Katy after one of her shows and find out she actually knows about this site and that she's thankful for all of her fans' support. Thanks to all of you who helped me and for visiting this fansite and supporting Katy during this past and long year! I promise new and more exciting stuff is coming really really soon so keep checking back...

Hey guys! So sorry again for the lack of updates, I'm still super busy and with no time to update as much as you and Katy deserve. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that the server problem is apparently fixed and the gallery is *finally* already showing up the latest albums I uploaded so you can already go to KatyPix.com and check some new photoshoots, scans and performance pics! I still have a lot more to add but I'm still not able to upload high quality and bigger pictures so I'm waiting for the host to help me fix that issue as well. I also had my Hello Katy Tour show yesterday! Katy was AMAZING and she posted this on her Twitter: "Wow! Crazy. In portugal, just played a Hello Katy show to 6 thousand screaming, singing, crying, FREAKING out fans. I felt IT for the 1st x." Omg, I also got to meet her and she's so so sweet, oh and she knows about the site you guys! I freaked out a lot during the meeting but hopefully I'll be able to do it again soon! You all should go! (: However be sure to check Katy-Perry.net because we may have updates at any moment!

Electronic group 3OH!3 have announced that Katy Perry will collaborate with the group on a remix of their latest single "Starstrukk".

"Touring with Katy is the best thing we could've done," bandmember Nathaniel Motte told the Daily Star. "She's a great performer and her show is a lot of fun.

"We wrote 'Starstrukk' a year ago and then met Katy. So when we had the opportunity to remix it, we were delighted she agreed to sing on it."

3OH!3 release their debut single 'Don't Trust Me' on July 6. 'Starstrukk' is expected to follow as the second track to be taken from their album Want.

A routine notice letter was sent to Ms. Howell, as is customary in trademark practice, alerting her of Ms. Perry’s intended application.———————————————-
This is a routine trademark application, and I certainly haven’t sued anyone. As usual, some of the press seems to have delighted in creating a story where there is none.

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates at Katy-Perry.net and KatyPix.com but I've been so busy lately and also had some Internet connection difficulties recently. Anyway, I just wanted to post something so the visitors won't think I've decided to stop updating the site or something. Don't worry, the regular updates will come back next week so keep checking back. We're also almost celebrating our first year anniversary on July 1st and I'll be posting some exclusive pics and also try to finally put the new layout online! Regarding the personalized e-mail accounts @katy-perry.net contest, I've decided to close it since people weren't collaborating! More news soon.
