Katy appear at 1:08 mark

Katy Perry along with the groups Bunkface, Wonder Girls, and Tokio Hotel arrived in Malaysia today as part of MTV’s World Stage Concert Tour, ‘Live in Malaysia 2010.’ Prior to taking the stage in front of more than 15,000 screaming fans the four acts had a press conference.

Bunkface looks forward to putting on a good show and they apparently have a “couple of gimmicks” up their sleeves. They unsuccessfully tried to invoke the spirit of Justin Bieber into their portion of the press conference to only a smattering of laughter.

Wondergirls are grateful to be in Malaysia and to their fans for supporting their music and dance, and Tokio Hotel is happy to be back in Malaysia, this time with more of their full production from their European concert tour.

Headlining the event is Katy ‘I Kissed a Girl’ Perry. Katy Perry was quick to correct the enormous number of Tweets coming from Malaysia that called the song just “I Kissed A.” (omitting the Girl) “That makes it sound more naughty than it actually is,” the pop-star told reporters and fans during the press conference. Though she has never been to Malaysia she seemed quite excited to be playing there and has been getting “incredible feedback” via Twitter.
