Current GRAMMY nominee Katy Perry has been added to the stellar lineup for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Country artist Dierks Bentley, rapper/actor and current four-time GRAMMY nominee Drake, GRAMMY winner Miranda Lambert, and Emmy and Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow will appear as presenters. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon.

Katy Perry is up for two awards: Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Firework.”

The 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high definition and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The show also will be supported on radio worldwide via Westwood One/Dial Global, and covered online at GRAMMY.com and CBS.com, and on YouTube.

The Complete Confection will feature tracks that didn’t make it on the original album.

Katy Perry gave fans their Teenage Dream when she dropped the album back in 2010, and now fans should expect to experience a bit of déjà vu.

The singer will drop a re-release of the album scheduled to March 13, 2012. Playing up the album’s sugary-sweet imagery, it will be called Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. While little else is known about what will appear on the album, producer Tricky Stewart did shed some light on the project when he spoke to MTV News last fall. He teased that several tracks that didn’t make the final cut for Teenage Dream were being reworked for this project.

Eric White from Capitol Record revealed that he’s working with Katy Perry for the last time and the new material seems to be released this spring. Eric made the unofficial announcement via twitter:

Spring 2012 Katy Perry will be releasing new material. This is the last year we work together

He later added:

I cannot confirm anything as far as Katy Perry I am not the record label executive. But please be patient! New music is on the way.

A happy looking Katy Perry celebrated New Year’s Eve by partying with friends and flirting with a mystery man at Soho House in West Hollywood, she spent the night dancing and laughing with friends.

One spy told Page Six, “Katy was in a private room with a group and she seemed to be in a great mood. She spent most of the night dancing and laughing with friends.

“During the evening a guest went up to her and thanked her for her song after the DJ played ‘Friday Night,’ and she said, ‘Wow, thank you — that makes me so happy.’

“After midnight Katy and a male friend got on the dance floor, twirling each other around and dancing holding hands. She looked like she was having a great time.”

Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away” rises 5-3 on the Hot 100 and is just two notches from making parent album “Teenage Dream” the first set to generate six No. 1s in the survey’s history. The track bounds 6-2 on Digital Songs (297,000, up 157%) and lifts 5-4 on Radio Songs (99 million, down 1%). In its first week of availability, the B.o.B-assisted remix of “One” accounted for 26% (76,000) of the title’s overall digital sales in the chart’s tracking period.
