Katy Perry and Kanye West brought their intergalactic smash “E.T.” to “American Idol” earlier this evening. The pop princess, dressed in futuristic garb, fronted a group of alien dancers as she performed the hit, assuming an industrial throne before bringing out ‘Ye as a special guest. Spitting his verse, Yeezy posed next to Perry in a fur-lined leather jacket over a white tee and crisp jeans. Head to outer space with the dynamic duo’s performance.

Katy Perry and Kanye West taped a performance that will air later this season, a source tells AINow.

The two performed their hit duet, “E.T.”

She’s already promised that her Grammy performance will be “quite a surprise,” but given that this is Katy Perry talking, that could mean practically anything.

Katy brings a lot of holiday cheer to Y100 Jingle Ball 2010 held at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday (December 11).

The 26-year-old pop singer wore a cute Santa inspired outfit to the event that also included performances by Selena Gomez, Adam Lambert, and Enrique Iglesias.

After leaving the chilly New York weather, Katy seemed happy to be in ‘Sunshine State’.

“Hello Miami!!! Now THIS is my kinda winter,” Katy tweeted. “Ready to JINGLE TONIGHT!?!?!”
